Replacing & Reinforcing Tooth Structure Is Our Bread & Butter

Cavities and gum disease do not just affect young patients. Those who are older can also experience a decline in oral health as a result of certain medications, infrequent dental visits, and poor oral hygiene. When damage or decay leads to cavities, infections, or cracks that need repair, we can provide restorative dentistry. Using tooth-colored fillings and dental crowns, Dr. Sy and our team will provide the necessary reinforcements to ensure optimal oral health. Why Choose Chanelle Sy, DDS for Restorative Dentistry?

  • Innovative Dental Technologies to Ensure Accurate, Beautiful Results
  • Multiple Materials Used to Create Custom Dental Crowns
  • Highly Trained Dentist Who Offers Support & Encouragement

Tooth-Colored Fillings

We use composite resin material to replace tooth structure lost due to cavities or chipping. The resin is a mixture of ultra-fine glass and plastic that is malleable and capable of being color-matched to your natural enamel shade. Unlike traditional amalgam that expands when exposed to hot and cold temperatures, resin maintains its size and shape, which means the tooth is unlikely to succumb to further breakage in the future.

Dental Crowns

Sometimes, your tooth needs extra structural reinforcement to provide lasting function, which is why it might be capped with a crown. We have a variety of materials to protect your tooth such as full porcelain, porcelain fused to metal, gold, Emax, and zirconia. Dr. Sy will evaluate the affected tooth to determine which option will deliver the greatest results so that you can resume using your teeth to eat comfortably, speak clearly, and smile more confidently.
