Dr. Chanelle Sy knows that excellent dentistry starts with a strong, trusting connection between the patient and doctor. That’s why instead of simply telling you what you need, she aims to listen and have a conversation about your dental care. Your input and unique needs and perspective will be reflected in how she treats you, ensuring you have a comfortable journey toward your new smile.
We Start with Empathy
Growing up in the Philippines, Dr. Sy’s parents didn’t have great access to dental care. According to her, people usually waited for a tooth to hurt before they made an appointment, and you’d almost always end up getting it pulled! So when they came to the U.S. and had Dr. Sy, she didn’t go to the dentist that often growing up. In fact, her first visit happened when she was 12, and she had over a dozen cavities that needed to be fixed!
Dr. Sy understands better than most what it’s like to have an unpleasant time at the dentist, which is why she puts so much effort into giving every patient a personalized and positive experience.
Highly Trained Dentist
Dr. Sy earned her dental degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, graduating with honors. She then began her career practicing at two of the most elite prosthodontic and multi-specialty dental offices in southern California. Her top-tier education was bolstered by getting to learn from leading experts while applying her skills in the real world, which is why she’s able to offer such a broad range of services at an extremely high level today.
