Dr. Chanelle Sy knows that excellent dentistry starts with a strong, trusting connection between the patient and doctor. That’s why instead of simply telling you what you need, she aims to listen and have a conversation about your dental care. Your input and unique needs and perspective will be reflected in how she treats you, ensuring you have a comfortable journey toward your new smile.
We Start with Empathy
Dr. Sy knows firsthand how limited access to dental care can affect families. Her parents didn’t have great access to dentists in the Philippines, where people often waited until a tooth hurt before getting it checked—and it usually ended up being pulled. After her family moved to the U.S., dental visits still weren’t a regular part of life. In fact, Dr. Sy didn’t see a dentist until she was in her adolescence and she discovered she had more than a dozen cavities that needed to be fixed!
Those early experiences left a lasting impression. Today, Dr. Sy is passionate about making dentistry a positive, stress-free experience for her patients. She takes the time to listen, personalize every visit, and help people feel truly comfortable in the chair.
Highly Trained Dentist
Dr. Sy earned her dental degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, graduating with honors. She then began her career practicing at two of the most elite prosthodontic and multi-specialty dental offices in southern California. Her top-tier education was bolstered by getting to learn from leading experts while applying her skills in the real world, which is why she’s able to offer such a broad range of services at an extremely high level today.
