Yes! Dr. Sy loves meeting new patients and getting them established with dental care. At your first visit, you can expect Dr. Sy to meet with you for about an hour to get to know you and discuss the condition of your mouth.

Yes! As long as you have current, readable X-rays, we will happily accept radiographs from a previous dental office. American Dental Association guidelines recommend Full Mouth X-rays (18-20 x-rays that show us a view of your whole mouth) are made for new patients of the practice if they don’t have a current set. Check up X-rays (usually 4-6 bitewings) are done yearly based on your cavity risk. X-rays can be sent to : info@1441dental.com (Newport Beach) or info@dentalspecialtiespd (Palm Desert).

We are not contracted with any specific insurance company but will happily bill your PPO insurance for any services provided. Payment is due at the time of service, then you will receive a check directly from your insurance for the amount you are covered for any procedure. We do not take HMO or Denti-Cal insurances. We do accept Care Credit.

Many patients have some level of anxiety when it comes to the dentist (Dr. Sy is the first to admit she does not like being in a dental chair!). We work with you to ensure you are comfortable and have several options for our nervous patients, including nitrous oxide, and in some cases, prescribing an anxiolytic or working with a dental anesthesiologist for sedation.
